Outdoor Camps for Children & Teens
Our kayaking camps are fun-filled days of kayaking around the inner harbour of Bantry Bay, playing games on the water and shoreline of Bantry Beach and learning about our sea environment.
In an age where children are indoors and on screens more and more, we are passionate about creating fun and active camps to get your children outside playing. Our camps are the perfect choice for your child for all the health and well-being they bring, but children also learn a new skill, increase their water safety awareness and learn about the sea environment.
It’s amazing to see the transformation in children and teens over the course of our camps. They grow in confidence in the water and on the kayaks, have fun and make new friends, ending the day with happy faces. That’s what it’s all about for us!
How Kayaking Camps Work
We run Kids Kayak Camps during the Easter and Summer holidays for 3 days from 10am-1pm. Kids Camps are for children aged 8yrs+.
Teen Camps run during the Summer holidays for children aged 13yrs+ to 18yrs, while our Saturday Morning Camps offer a one day camp for 8yrs+ for 3hrs on Saturday Mornings in June and September only.
All camp participants must be able to swim and will be provided with a life jacket. All camps are led by our experienced instructors and we welcome both locals and anyone visiting the area on holiday to our camps. We have short wetsuits available for hire or participants can bring their own.

BOOK YOUR KAYAK CAMP
Sat Morning Club
Saturday Morning Kayak Club held between 10am-1pm for children 8yrs+ who can swim. These camps run June & September only.

Kayak Hire
Single or Double Kayaks available for hire by the hour. Follow the marked Bantry Blueway or explore the inner harbour.
