Hire a Boat to Catch Your Supper
There's nothing like getting out on the water on a summer's day to cast your line in the hope of catching some fresh mackerel fish for your dinner.
You can hire one of our self-drive boats for an hour or two to explore the inner harbour and try your luck at mackerel fishing in Bantry Bay.
This is a great family activity to do while you are in Bantry and if you don't have any fishing rods with you, don't worry as we have a fishing bucket with lines for hire on the day.
You will be given a full safety briefing before you depart the pier and we will keep a watchful eye on you from the pier at all times. Life jackets are supplied as standard for your safety.
