Experience part of the Wild Atlantic Way from the waters of beautiful Bantry Bay, learn about the types of fishing in the Bay and taste the freshest seafood you’ll ever taste!
We will explore points of interest in Bantry Bay, visit our lobster pots, learn about the mussel farms, scallop fishing and enjoy a brief history about the area.
We will then visit Whiddy Island for a sharing bowl of freshly cooked mussels, served with homemade Irish brown bread and a glass of Guinness.
You will then have the option to either return to Bantry to end your trip or remain on Whiddy Island. On Whiddy, you can explore this historic and beautiful island on foot or hire a bike, or simply relax and enjoy refreshments/food from the bar.
We will take the boats back to Bantry and you can return to Bantry at your leisure for free on the ferry.
The Guided Seafood Tour departs from the pontoon on the Railway Pier in Bantry and has a 2hrs duration. All guests will be supplied with a lifejacket and given a safety briefing on the easy-to-use powerboat before we depart.
